Design Summary:
The Ceres Barn Kit embraces a highly functional greenhouse/head house combination. What separates the Barn Kit from our other attached head house kits is its traditional barn aesthetic, which makes it a perfect addition to a farm or homestead. This particular client was searching for a year-round growing solution for personal veggie production and to supplement his wife’s small cut flower business. He uses the warehouse space to store his tractor and other farming supples. Being a commercial farmer, he also needed an office space for his farm business dealings so Ceres designed a separate room in the warehouse for just that purpose. The greenhouse includes a GAHT® system and energy curtains to help control the temperature without using excess energy. To manage all his greenhouse technology, the client uses his SunSense™ controller – an building management system that continuously monitors crucial greenhouse conditions to automatically optimize the greenhouse environment. Wheatland, Wyoming is extremely cold and windy in the wintertime, but with his new greenhouse and attached warehouse, our client can grow and work comfortably no matter the weather.
